Who is Jan from Gitaar Afstellen Ewijk?

When I was teaching guitar, new students often came to their first lesson with a cheap guitar – very understandable, of course. Unfortunately, those guitars were usually poorly set up. With the knowledge and skills I already had at the time, I was able to make them much more playable. That was many years ago. Since then, I’ve gained a great deal of experience and have probably set up around a thousand guitars from A to Z. Unfortunately, I do not take on electronics or soldering jobs. For these services, I recommend visiting one of our other locations. One of my specialities is restoring fretboards when the frets are worn down. I carry out all my work from my workshop in Ewijk, near Nijmegen.

Ewijk and the surrounding area

Ewijk lies just outside Nijmegen, a city with one of the oldest pop venues in the Netherlands – Doornroosje. We see a steady stream of musicians crossing the Waalbrug for a proper setup – and for good reason. For musicians from Wijchen, Beuningen, Druten, Oss and Arnhem the workshop – right by the Ewijk interchange (A50/A73) – is easy to reach as well.
