Meet Rempe from
Gitaar Afstellen Utrecht
My musical journey started early. At the age of four I began playing the piano, and at thirteen, after watching a Roger Waters concert on TV and listening to Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, I fell hopelessly in love with rock music – and with the guitar.
At the age of fifteen, I started my first band and have been active in the music industry ever since. I released six studio albums and performed nationally and internationally with various artists and bands, including Keith Caputo (Life of Agony, USA) and Grammy-nominated artists Dave “Rave” Deroches (Teenage Head, CA) and Lauren Agnelli (Washington Squares, USA). Currently, I play in tribute and rock bands such as One After 909 (a Beatles tribute), The Sound Undercover, The Still Traveling Wilburys and Kaspar Baum. I have over 25 years of experience working in music stores, both in the Netherlands and abroad, including Staffhorst, Feedback, Key Music, Guitar Center (USA) and Max Guitar. During that time I specialised in sound engineering and guitar repair. With the rise of large online retailers, I decided to start working independently. I now bring my knowledge and experience to my workshop in Utrecht.
With Gitaar Afstellen Utrecht, I want to share the joy and love of playing guitars with my customers again. Whether you have an original Fender from the sixties or a budget guitar, they are all equally valuable to me. I'll do my best to get the most out of your guitar. Book an appointment through the contact form and I'll help you set up your instrument to your personal wishes and playing style. Rock on!
